Those in the suburbs can get their Harry’s Pizzeria fix a bit easier come next year. The pizzeria, led by James Beard Award-winning chef Michael Schwartz, will set up shop in Downtown Dadeland at 8975 SW 72nd Place next spring.
This will be the third outpost for the concept that already has locations in the Miami Design District and Coconut Grove. The menu at the new Kendall location will remain the same as the other two locations featuring pizzas, snacks, salads, daily specials and dessert, plus craft beer and wine.
This is just one of the many new restaurants coming to the area, including a concept by former Michael’s Genuine Food & Drink executive chef Niven Patel who’s opening Ghee Indian Kitchenlater this year. Other soon-to-be openings include Jorgie Ramos’ new-and-improved Barley, an American Brasserie and the Alan Susser led The Brick.
No official opening date has been released yet. Stay tuned for more updates.
