Pawn Broker is a serious indoor-outdoor rooftop lounge, conceived by Pubbelly Restaurant Group’s co-founder, Chef José Mendin, with a cocktail menu developed by bar chef Derek Stilmann that is deeply rooted in the Prohibition Era and elevated to the next level by the talented mixologist.
The bar, with spectacular urban skyline views, is situated at the top of The Langford, a historical building lovingly restored to its Beaux Art grandeur, and into a retro chic hotel in Downtown Miami’s emerging Arts and Entertainment District.
After a much-anticipated dining experience of the Pubbelly Boys’ lobby leveled restaurant, PB Station, we were graciously invited to explore Miami’s latest and greatest venue for entertainment and cocktails. Perusing over Stilmann’s bar menu, we found pages of interesting drinks defined by black ink illustrations, cheeky quotes, and embellished penned descriptions.
Stilmann, – forever in search of the endless summer, aided by a swizzle cocktail and a warm climate, managed to capture summer in a cocktail with his re-interpretation of the Mojito.
